Beggs Welcomes Amazon Jobs at Kilroot

East Antrim Ulster Unionist Party representative Roy Beggs MLA has welcomed news that Amazon are to move to the Kilroot Business Park, creating 18 direct Amazon jobs in addition to over 130 other jobs for independent delivery companies. Mr Beggs MLA said “I am pleased that Amazon, a company that requires speedy and high volume distribution from a skilled and dependable workforce, has recognised Carrickfergus as an ideal location.  With the upgrade in the A2 Shore Road to Belfast, the A8 dual carriageway to and from Larne, the East Antrim area has excellent communication links to the Port of Larne, the Port of Belfast and the local airports.  The Kilroot site will also have easy access to the M1 and M2 for Northern Ireland wide distributions. This news bodes well as I have no doubt that other companies will now also consider the East Antrim area as an excellent location for their businesses.” Ends
