Appeal For Information After Lisburn Burglary | Northern Ireland News, 26/04/2019

Police are appealing for information following reports of a burglary in Lisburn. Two men entered a property in the Causeway Meadows area of Lisburn at around 7.20pm on Wednesday 24 April. Two young people are understood to have locked themselves in a room and raised the alarm. It is not believed anything was taken. Police are investigating and have appealed to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact detectives in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference 1205 of 24/04/19. Nine Vehicles Destroyed In Armagh Blaze | Northern Ireland News, 29/04/2019

Nine vehicles have been destroyed following a fire at a commercial premises in Armagh. The blaze happened on the Tullysaran Road in the early hours of Sunday morning, 28 April. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene just before 3am and mobilised three pumps to help control the fire. A house and garage were damaged as well as nine vehicles. Family Escapes Harm In Moneymore Arson Attack | Northern Ireland News, 29/04/2019

A family of five have managed to escape harm after an arson attack outside their home in Moneymore, County L’Derry early this morning. A car parked outside a house in Conyngham Street was deliberately set alight at around 3.30am, destroying the vehicle and also causing damage to the property. A couple and their three children were inside at the time but were uninjured. Detective Sergeant Robinson said: “We are working to establish a motive for this attack and would like to hear from anyone with information. Detectives can be contacted at Mid Ulster CID offices, Cookstown by calling 101, quoting reference 149 29/04/19.” Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous. 21-Year-Old Dies After Crumlin Stabbing | Northern Ireland News, 29/04/2019

Police have launched a murder inquiry after the death of a 21-year-old man following a stabbing in Crumlin, County Antrim. The incident happened at a house in the Cairn Walk area in the early hours of Saturday morning, 27 April. Four men have been arrested in connection with the death. Police and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded to an emergency call at around 2.50am and rushed the man to hospital for treatment. He died on Sunday morning. The men, aged 19, 24, 25 and 29 remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries. Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin issued an appeal to anyone who was in the Cairn Walk area on Saturday morning and has information which may assist with the investigation to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 141 of 27/04/19. Drunk Driver Rams Car Into Chinese Restaurant | Northern Ireland News, 29/04/2019

A car has smashed through the window of a Chinese restaurant in Portadown after a drunk driver crashed into the back of it. The “life or death” incident happened on Friday evening, 26 April, when a family parked outside the takeaway with a six-month-old child on board. A drunk driver, who had stolen the vehicle he was driving, crashed into the back of the family and sent their car through the window of the Chinese. Police arrested the man at the scene and found that he was twice over the legal alcohol limit for drivers. He has since been charged with drink driving, driving without a licence, driving unaccompanied an failing to display L plates.
