Beggs calls for information in wake of burglary

East Antrim Ulster Unionist Party MLA Roy Beggs has appealed for information relating to a burglary in the Glenburn Road area of the Glynn on Tuesday 16th August.

Mr Beggs, who is a member of Stormont’s Justice Committee, said “I would appeal for locals who may have seen anything suspicious on Tuesday in the Glenburn Road area relating to the burglary or the movements of the silver Seat Leon car to contact the police on 101. Alternatively they can provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.”

“I am aware of concerns in the area as a result of a number of burglaries in the past months and I would have particular concerns that it appears that a weapon and ammunition has been stolen.”
