Following the international award granted to Glenarm village, Roy Beggs MLA has congratulated all those involved in improving the village of Glenarm over the decades.
Roy Beggs MLA said, “I always found Glenarm village to be very quaint, with wonderful views. I would comment the community effort to improve the village over the decades, for the benefit of all. This international award should help to kick start the major renovation scheme for the former limeworks area in the town centre, which has been so long planned for. The international recognition has the potential to bring more tourists into the area and increase employment opportunities.
