East Antrim Ulster Unionist Party representative Roy Beggs MLA has welcomed news that communities in the local area continue to be funded through the Neighbourhood Renewal fund.
Roy Beggs said “It is good news that funding of over £70,000 is continuing for smaller, disadvantages communities in Dixon Park (Larne), Sunnylands (Carrickfergus) and Greenisland. Some of these areas were originally overlooked for the funding but the decision was subsequently reversed when I highlighted the need for equality in funding distribution across Northern Ireland.”
