Glassillan area of Greenisland
Roy Beggs said, “With the trip hazards, multiple patching and the generally deteriorating tarmac surface at the Glassillan Shopping Area in Greenisland, I had requested that Roads Service would resurface this busy area. I am pleased that they have recognised the poor road surface and have agreed to include the area as a priority on their resurfacing programme”.
Roads Service have also agreed to temporarily repair actionable defects which could be hazardous to the public. Inadequate funds have been provided for roads maintenance and the area resurfacing is to be completed when further funds become available.
