Police in Derry have said they carried out what they described as “high visibility anti-burglary” patrols in a number of areas in the city last night.
A spokesperson said Strand Road Local Policing Team carried out patrols in the Ballymagoarty, Shantallow, Galliagh, Culmore and Culmore areas.
The spokesperson added: “Help us keep our community safe by keeping doors and windows closed and locked. Don’t make it easy for them!”
