East Antrim Ulster Unionist Party Assemblyman Roy Beggs MLA has expressed his disappointment at the emergence of a paramilitary mural in Greenisland.
Mr Beggs MLA said “I hold regular surgeries in the Greenisland estate and I know the vast majority of local people do not welcome these sort of paramilitary murals. They do nothing except bring the neighbourhood down. With this mural beside the local shops and businesses, it will do little to encourage and invite more customers to come into the area. Paramilitaries – of all types – need to pack up and go away.”
