Nearly £1m claimed by 217 East Antrim residents in ‘Make the Call’ scheme

East Antrim Assemblyman Roy Beggs has welcomed news from the Department for Communities that over £21m has been generated from previously unclaimed benefits for residents in Northern Ireland, according to figures from 2016/17.

The East Antrim MLA said “The Department for Communities ‘Make the Call’ service has helped NI residents receive over £21.3m in unclaimed benefits. 217 people from East Antrim have claimed £922,766.42.”
