East Antrim Ulster Unionist Party MLA Roy Beggs has unearthed figures that indicates the number of homes receiving energy efficiency work has reduced by around 5,000 in recent years.
Mr Beggs MLA said “For the financial years of 2012/13,2013/14 & 2014/15 the average uptake of the Warm Homes Scheme averaged out at 8,262. The schemes successor, Affordable Warmth, installed energy efficiency measures in 3,064 homes in the last financial year. I would urge constituents to consider applying for the scheme.”
