Ulster Unionists Welcome Addition of Reflectors on A2 Shore Road at Greenisland

Ulster Unionist Party representatives Roy Beggs MLA and Cllr Andrew Wilson have welcomed work that has been completed on the new section of the A2 at Greenisland which saw reflectors added to the dual carriageway.  In recent times, both elected representatives have lobbied Transport NI for the addition of the reflectors on the new section of road.

Mr Beggs, MLA for East Antrim and a former Greenisland Councillor said “The addition of reflectors on the new dual carriageway will make the section of road safer for motorists by providing increased lane awareness.”

Andrew Wilson, Knockagh Councillor and Chairman of the local Policing and Community Safety Partnership also added “The reflectors will go some way to brightening up the new section of road for users at Greenisland and is to be welcomed.”
