UUP MLA Beggs calls for ours streets to be ruled by the law not guns

Following the gun  shot into a house at Victoria Street, Carrickfergus,  Roy Beggs MLA has called for everyone to assist the law to govern the streets rather than the gunman.

Roy Beggs MLA said, “This latest gun shot at Victoria Street, Carrickfergus, an urban area, could easily resulted in death or injury.  This street, which is the main route to the local Bus and Rail station and only a few yards from my own office will cause many to pause and think about this criminal act.    I would call for the end of weapons on our streets and ask anyone with information about the incident to assist the police with their enquiries.”
