Whitehead’s annual Victorian Fair cancelled

Whitehead’s annual Victorian Fair which was due to take place in November has been cancelled.

The cancellation was announced by Whitehead Community Association which said: “Accommodation problems which arose last year continue to impact on our ability to facilitate an increasing number of stallholders and exhibitors.

“These problems together with other concerns identified by the wider community have resulted in a decision to cancel the fair for 2018.

“It is planned, following resolution of the current problems, that the fair will be re-established next year.

“We would like to thank all who have supported the Victorian street fair throughout the years and look forward to your continued support.”

The fair was established in 2009.
