Beggs Supports Bike Week

Ulster Unionist representative Roy Beggs MLA has shown his Bike Weeksupport for bike week by taking part in an organised cycle from Parliament Buildings to the Department for Regional Development Head Office near City Hall.

Roy Beggs MLA, himself a keen cyclist, said “I would encourage people to take up cycling as there are very clear benefits to our health and to the environment.  With cycle lanes incorporated into the design of the new and improved A2 Shore Road, this will provide an option for Carrickfergus and Greenisland residents to cycle, as they will be linked to the greater Belfast cycle network.”
