“To date wire rope safety barriers have been installed on the Randalstown to Castledawson section of the A6 project and it is the intention of the contractor to use wire rope safety barrier on the Dungiven to Drumahoe section. For the A5 project, it is too early for a decision to be made on the type of safety barriers to be installed,” said Ms. Mallon.
