East Antrim MLA Roy Beggs hosted an Ulster Unionist Party business breakfast in Larne, with guest speakers including party leader Mike Nesbitt and Jim Nicholson MEP.
A number of Mid and East Antrim UUP councillors also attended the event, which saw Mr Nesbitt address the audience on his vision for Northern Ireland business.
Meanwhile, Mr Nicholson spoke on the impact of the EU on Northern Ireland and about the referendum on membership of the EU.
Speaking after the event, Mr Beggs said: “It was great to have so many East Antrim businesses at the breakfast, and the discussion was useful. I firmly believe that we, as politicians, have a duty to meet as many people as possible in order to get the widest range of feedback possible in order to shape policy decisions.”
